hard:edged presents " The Watergate Files Vol.1"

habe hierzu noch nichts gefunden, daher kopiere ich mal den promo-text vom metro rüber, weil ich meine, dass das release große aufmerksamkeit verdient hat.

Guten Tag,

Im März wird es mal wieder einen schönen CD Release auf h:e geben. "Watergate Files Vol.1" wird eine Mix CD sein, die die letzten 2 1/2 Jahre hard:edged im Watergate musikalisch ein wenig zusammenfasst. Entschieden habe ich mich für einen DJ Mix, der gleichzeitig den Clubvibe transportiert und anhand seiner Vielfältigkeit in Bezug auf die Auswahl der Stücke den Ansatz der Veranstaltung ein wenig zeigt. Dank gilt an dieser Stelle allen beteiligten Artists, die mit exclusiven Tracks und Lizensierungen die Sache interessant machen.
Das ganze kommt im März via Groove Attack und hoffentlich nicht vorher oder gleich im Anschluss via Soulseek und Co.
Daß ich hier nur das Tracklisting poste und auf ausführliche Hörproben verzichte versteht hoffentlich jeder...einige der Tracks könnt ihr hier im Forum eh vorhören - andere finden sich sicherlich in dem ein oder anderen Mix in der nächsten Zeit...
Bei Release wird's n auch'n paar Exemplare zur Verlosung geben - stay tuned!

Ach - und einen Hidden Track gibt's als Bonus auch noch nach dem Mix - Surprise

Topping off a banner year at the famed Watergate club in Berlin, and a slew of high quality vinyl releases from Germany's premier D&B label H:E Music, comes this unforgettable mix from the one and only DJ Metro. The long-running Continuous Club Mode Friday nights at Watergate club are legendary throughout Europe after just over two years in existence, for bringing a more funk and soul influenced D&B sound than your average danceteria. Some of D&B's heavyweights have been regular guests there, and many of those are featured on this stellar mix set by Metro, who is a resident DJ and promoter extraordinaire for the club.

Part 1 brings the talents of international stars Dkay & Lee with the sublime "One Nation," and Mathematics from Brooklyn New York, in the good old US of A, with their LONG awaited "Bubbler." Part two features the remix skills of Stress Level & TC1 at the helm for Kabuki's "Lovelines," while Arqer & Realtime roll out in fine style with the bouncing style of "Warehouse Daze." The final 12" takes things into a deeper realm, with Drumagick telling us that it's "Time to Get Up," and Xplorer reminding us that we "Can't Stop," with his neurofunked Watergate anthem.
As we go deep into year three for the legendary Watergate club this mix, provided by the man that makes it all happen every other Friday night, is undoubtedly the man best suited to take us back on a nostalgic trip from our home stereos.
