AK1200, America's original jungle/drum n bass don has been pushing the sound since the music's initial incarnation as hardcore breakbeat. AK started DJing in 1989. As Jungle music evolved and became more popular, so did AK1200. Also in 93, he was invited to the UK again, this time to DJ, and played alongside such greats as Hype, Mickey Finn, Swift and Zinc, Danny Breaks, SL2, and several others for a Christmas party. More recently, AK and longtime colleagues Dieselboy and Dara came to realize that they on their own had become the top three dnb DJ's in the US, so what would happen if they joined forces? The answer of course, was world domination, and the Planet of the Drums (POTD) crew was born.

Total Sciences, The pair first met in 1987, both living on Blackbird Leys estate in Oxford. After six years of recording singles for others, the pair established the CIA label in the closing months of 1997 with the help of Brillo from Timeless. Their debut album Advance exposed a further field of interest, with downtempo experiments logged as a series of "Breaks" on the majority of their early EP's extended to some superb deep house, this breadth taken a step further with their Skin Deep imprint which has forged broken beat to considerable acclaim. Their *******ing of a revival in old-school sounds and arrangements, together with Digital and Reinforced, dominated drum & bass throughout 2001.

System-D, began his dj-career in 1991 playing Hip Hop and old skool acid/Hip-house. A trip to London in 1995 converted him to Jungle/Drum and Bass. Crowned by the famous Drum And Bass website "Drum and Bass Arena" in 1998. he was overseer winner in a mixtape competition in krownledge mag in 2000. The runs the 'INSIDE' nights in Brussels since 2000. Recently, he started producing his own track and has been signed to INTERCOM records (Uk). The E-Z Rollers imprint.
