Serious shit. Why is it that in dnb, you cant talk about how some "don of the scene" fell off? I mean fuck, it happens to everyone in every genre, you fall off, your not what you once were, but why is it taboo to say that shit?
All i hear is this shit about "if it wasnt for blah blah blah you wouldnt have dnb in the first place"
well that fine and fuckin dandy, but you gotta realize that blaming the internet, blaming p2p etc isnt always the reason why muthafuckas dont wanna buy your shit. Maybe your shit is just wack, maybe your tune selection isnt what it once was, maybe you dont care about the music you brought to popularity as much as you used too.
Since DNB has so much fuckin ass kissing, and so many close knit people, its like everyone is afriad and shit to talk or say something, or muthafuckas are quick to squelch some shit. This is easily the ONLY genre where people worry so much about hating and go out of their way to address it. "Where is the love, stop the negativity, etc". Its always the same fuckin cop-outs.
I mean, i wont mention no names, but you all know who they are, djs who cry at every little post calling them out on some shit that someone didint like, people cant accept, maybe they just didint like that shit.
worth a read
