...sind sicher alles bessere lineups - die engländer würden sich zu tode freuen wenn sie die djs endlich auch mal länger als 24,3 minuten hören könnten - ist dann nämlich ganz was anderes wenn ein dj wirklich ein set spielt und nicht seine top 5 in 1 stunde b2b...

du hast schon recht, das line-up ist mal ober-beknackt. weniger wegen den acts selbst, sondern wegen der fülle. ich weiß nicht, ich dachte immer, dass man nur noch 15-jährige raver mit 30 acts auf einem floor in 5 stunden locken kann. aber nein, selbst bei alten hasen setzt da immer noch der verstand aus. und was ich erst recht nicht kapiere. bei solchen parties kostet es wohl mindestens 20 gpb, also etwa knapp 30 euro eintritt und die acts kassieren witz-gagen, wohl um die 50-100 pfund, die fahrt können sie selber bezahlen. aber hiesige veranstalter bezahlen unmengen mehr an gage für diese acts und müssen dann mit maximal 10 euro eintritt kalkulieren. aber die djs versprechen sich von der party eine gute promotion, so dass sie sich mit absoluten lumpen-beträgen abspeisen lassen.
genauso sieht es doch bei releases auf hardware aus. mat erwähnte was richtiges dazu im clayton-thread.

also das kann dir in england öfters passieren... hat glaub ich nicht zwangsweise was mit hardware zu tun das is das insulaner-denken und hat auch sehr stark was mit der ansicht/tatsache zu tun, dass drum&bass in england "erfunden" wurde...

und ansonsten: solche back-2-back-line-ups tauchen ja auch hierzulande häufig auf (natürlich nicht mit uks sondern mit locals, die uks sind ja in uk auch locals). wer auch immer sich deswegen sowas nach wien wünscht: gibts doch eh, nur eben mit locals und ich wage zu behaupten, dass da wesentlich mehr style-vielfalt drin ist, als bei obigem line-up (klar evol intent & noisia sind jetzt nicht aus uk, aber fliegen sicher nicht extra ein, sondern sind sicher aus business-gründen bereits an besagtem weekend sowieso in uk....)

und ansonsten bleibt noch zu sagen: es zwingt die obrigen artists ja niemand, da dran teilzunehmen, wenns ihnen nicht recht wäre gerade deswegen zählt das kohle-argument überhaupt nicht... (und das war->die armen, kriegen dafür ja nur ganz wenig kohle, wo sie doch im ausland das dreifache verdienen könnten, und der böse clayton casht groß ab... - und nein, ich will clayton jetzt nicht verteidigen, ich weiß selbst, dass er einiges an scheisse gebaut hat, aber das tut hier in der argumentationsweise nichts zur sache.)

also,ich muss irgendwie ganz ehrlich sagen das dieses line up ein bisschen bekanntheits overdoze is,aber so ein line up is halt einfach arg und in Öst. kaum vorstellbar (allein aus finanziellen gründen) und irgendwie wirkt das dann schon garnicht mehr als wäre es was besonderes. ich bin schon irgendwie neidisch auf die insulaner,doch glaub ich freut man sich dort halt nicht so wie hier in österreich auf solche acts (ich rede jetzt von mir) und da sind dann leut wie friction , pendulum , dylan usw. standard programm . ich wollte nur sagen : fettes line up (da kann keiner was sagen) und sicher fette party. ich wär schon mal gern auf so einem event , aber irgendwie nicht so ein every weekend programm ! (<- es muss was besonderes bleiben! )

und es kostet 11 pfund im vorverkauf.


naja,ich freu mich einfach nur noch auf THE ENEMY am 23.4 !! ja!

...und ich hab nix gegen die acts gesagt - ich hab gesagt dass der fetteste act uninteressant ist wenn er nicht mehr als 25 minuten spielt und das ist mmn nicht geschmackssache!
