@DUB CLUB....DJ Marky???

as im sure every1 here knows, hes been booked for Dub club on the 27th.

So... was very curious to know whether they booked him for an extended set (as GUmix was talkin about in the thread from Markys last visit.. cant find link for it now sorry) cos his 5 hour set @the end in January was just mindblowing and it would be great to experience that with the Vienna Vibes!

Any info would be much appreciated!

Im a huge fan of XRS too...and honestly speaking i prefer him more than marky... but to PARTY Marky's alwayss aweeesomme (i didnt much like his last set@flex though) ...Defo one of the best "A" list djs imo....

Seeing him for 1st time back in Nov 2001@flex for dub club really really changed my views on dnb. so for me, its defo not Nix ohne XRS from there on, ive been checkin him out loads at Movement, Swerve, Liquid V, and Innerground nights.... this man is so diverse and skillfull, encompassing producers like Calibre, DJ roots, Bungle, Logistics, Makoto, Akira, break etc, etc....usually very diverse tracklists (if he gets an extended set of course)
as well as stuff im not too happy to hear (ie pendulum these days)

But fair enough mate, everyone is entitled to their own opinions. From experience though, all the times ive seen Marky, he has been the highlight of my night, never gettin tooo chilled and never getting too hardcore...

Plus XRS was@Roxy recently, innit? (awesome awesome night that was i thought)

Sounds like a wicked contest mate... Only problem is, im not really into modern Dancehall music (i do like dub and reggae though)
and since id much rather go where i like the music rather than check out the booti, i think ill be checkin out Marky.

Edit: hey mate, just realised ur talking about morgen DOH!... Marky is playin on the 27th, not next monday. Next next monday mate. so now my turn to say: better be there!

The three times hes been here (this will be the fourth) hes always been booked by Dub Club.
A big reason for that maybe because Gu mix, one of the promoters from Dub Club is of Brasilian Origain, hence, Dub Club has booked other Brasil dnb djs (in the past) such as Patife, Ramilson Maia, as well as the infamous duo of Marky and XRS.

Too bad u miss Marky, Hes definitely worth checking out at least once..

The scene in Ireland may be interesting though... of course Calibre, then there is Zero Tolerance, and last but not the least, Rohan and his whole Bassbin Crew (breakage is a part of this as well i believe, and he is just ) have nights there...


good news with UAF though, innit? though festivals are not really my thing.

also ich fands gestern auch ohne xrs sehr leiwand...marky hat ganz schön lang voll geile stimmung verbreitet...

und hat auch einige sehr gute tunes gespielt...

wie immer ein echt feiner abend...

der einzige nachteil ist, dass ich jetzt von der flex-anlage einen tinnitus hab... aber das wird hoffentlich bis zum we wieder...
