Durch die Vermischung von Styles wie Ragga, Drum&Bass, Hip-Hop und Electronic schaffen Bauchklang eine Energie und Präsenz, die jeden, der damit in Berührung kommt, in ihren Bann zieht.
Info Body & Soul:
Body&soul was formed in 2003 by Robert Stefan and Michael Willer. Both have been involved with music from birth on in many different projects from rock-bands to classic orchestra, from djing to event management. In the year 1998 while robert was working to establish a local dnb-scene as a dj and promoter michael went to the audio-engineering college in vienna. Both knew each other for a long time before but it was drumandbass music that made them team up and eventually start working on music together. In 2003 they decided to leave everything behind and put all effort into making dnb-tunes. At the end of the year 2003 drumandbass arena () put on a huge rmx contest with the mighty EZ-rollerz. Body&soul havn´t had any proper releases so far so they decided to participate. Cutting a long story short, after several months the 300.000 different visitors of dnb-arena have stated that the b&s rmx was the best out of over 1000 that were sent in from all over the world. The EZ-rollerz themselves were well into the rmx too and short after the released the remake of “roadrunner” on their well respected “Intercom Recordings” This has drawn a lot of attention on body&soul and they kept working to evolve their sound as they felt it really lacked in many aspects. In the summer of 2004 body&soul did a collaboration with DJ Genr8 from Alliance, an upcoming producer from miami. A track called “the passage” was made and it didn´t take long until people like “bad company”, “dieselboy”, “dylan” amongst others knocked on their door, beeing seriously into the tune. Couple of days later the track was signed to “bad company presents” forth to come on their album later next year.
Totally blown away by the fact that their second release was on “bad company presents” b&s were even more eagerly working to establish their sound, while beeing more and more busy with djing all over europe. Early in 2005 the boys signed 2 more tracks to the mighty “BC-presents” imprint, all coming out in spring 2005. With all that it´s inevitable that body&soul are soon to break into the elite of the dnb-circuit.
