hiphop influenced dnb

grias eich!

war letztens beim proceed im flex, und nach der hiphop session vom prime cuts is ja ganze zeit der ärgstens geile dnb auf und abgespielt worden.. genauso wie damals beim trife life imma, der dnb-stil hat mir ziemlich sehrstens gedaugt.. (gibts einen namen für genau die dnb richtung?)

und da ich eigentlich nur hiphop/breakbeats auflege, und auch nur solche platten daheim hab, wollt ich meinen horizont erweitern und mir ein paar dnb scheiberl zulegen, obwohl ich mich von den dnb-artists her eigntlich fast nüsse auskenn und mich aber der dnb-stil ur begeistert..

deswegen wollt ich bei euch mal fragen, der ganze dnb der im flex zb beim trife life damals, beim proceed letztens usw. aufgelegt wird, von welchen gängigen artists ist der?
oder welches label? könnts ma da ein paar leiwande nennen?

hoff ihr wissts, welchen dnb-style ich ungefähr mein

würd mich über ein paar tipps und anregungen zum an/rein/druchhören freuen, damit ich ma bissl vinyl chekken kann

is ja scho amal a phatte liste

ja stimmt, der cyantifik hat nachher aufgelegt, aber prime cuts hat ja nachm hiphop auch noch ziemlich lang dnb aufgelegt wenn ich mich richtig nicht-nüchtern zrückerinnere?

überhaupt so geil, prime cuts hat zb nachm witness vom roots manuva (war noch ziemlich am anfang) einen oargen basslastigen beat drübergelegt, sooo geil, hab ich schon mal gehört, aber keine ahnung von wem der is, den bräucht ich auch auf vinyl..

werd jedenfalls mal die liste durchgehen und mich irgendwie durchhören, thx again!!

's kann schon sein, dass das so is... but: ich hoer kein dnb, geh nicht auf die parties und sowieso is es imo unnoetig nach nem genre zu fragen bzw allzusehr aufzuteilen, da gibz eh viel zu viele (hart u weich sollt eigentlich reichen, naja vielleicht underground und kommerz noch, damit ja jeder weiss, was sache is) ... imo hat jedes lustige subgenre hiphopeinfluesse dabei... da koenntest auch gscheid einfahrn, wenn dir zb jem twisted individual oder g-dub empfiehlt

hiphop influcenced dnb?

imo. ist das sowas wie z.b. aphrodite so zw. 96 und 2000 gemacht hat, oder allg. urban takeover releases aus der zeit. (da gibtz natürlich noch vielviel mehr labels, die mir ´jetzt aber alles stante pede nicht einfallen wollen).

ansonsten gibtz natürlich immer wieder mehr oder weniger verzichtbare remix-sachen von bekannten hiphop- oder rnb-nummern wie in letzter zeit z.b. snoop dogg, kelis, missy, beyonce etc.etc.

und außerdem: hiphop einflüsse gibts im prinzip in praktisch jedem d&b tune auf irgendeine art und weise, also wird dir nix anderes übrig bleiben, als dich durch alles mögliche durchzuhören und selber herauszufinden, was genau dich an den div. styles besonders anspricht.

zum unterschied zw. jungle und d&b:
jungle hat sich aus acidhouse/hardcore/techno anfang der 90er entwickelt, war einfach eine break-lastigere variante, oft einfach die bässe auf dub-halftime, dafür eben die schnellen breakz.
daraus hat sich ab ca. 94 ein ragga-jungle-boom entwickelt, eine gegenströmung entstand ca. 95/96 mit viel darkeren, deeperen sachen, bis man alles nur noch als d&b bezeichnete. hängt auch sehr viel damit zusammen, dass die hektischen jungle-breakz immer weniger wurden und dem heute so vorherrschenden 2step-rhythmus ("um-tschack, um-tschack") platz machen mussten, der um einiges dancefloorlastiger ist... also für mich sind die oldskool-sachen jungle, und alles ab spätestens 1997 d&b.

ich find ja dnb ist DER fusion style der gegenwart. da kann jeder seine einflüsse mit einbringen, und es bleibt trotzdem immer dnb... den rollenden beat muss man hlat mögen.

und ich weiß nimmer wer´s gesagt hat (ich glaub fast ich war das ):
auch elektr. mukke ist und bleibt rock´n´roll, nur ist techno mehr "rock", und dnb mehr "roll".
nuff said.
