 Rregula & Dementia / Flame & Kano [BSR001] OUT NOW + Black Seeds Podcast 002
Black Seeds Recordings present its first vinyl release featuring Rregula & Dementia with a smashing dancefloor tune called "With the animals" and "Raygun" by Flame & Kano on the flip side which brings you the finest deep vibes of their brand new sound. So finally a record who pleases everyone's tastes.

Since the formation of Rocking Drum and Bass Power Duo "BaD RoBoT" in 2003 (with ludicrous kiwi DnB personality Phetsta) Rregula hasn't looked back. Having paid his 12" dues with numerous successful Bad Robot releases on labels such as BSE , Technique and Habit , Rregula turned to solo production.
Breakthrough tunes like "Corner Hash Man" on Shadybrain004 opened the doors to a healthy roster of respected labels that Rregula now has releases on. Also teaming up with Germany's Dementia, together they have carved a sound of their own and have seen them hold releases on such labels as DSCI4, Trust in Music,and Triple Visions Disturbed and Citrus.
After some years of producing Breakbeat, a release on Knite Force and having DJ'd at several big events like One Nation, Dreamland, One Love and C/O Pop Festival, Rouven Fehr aka. Dementia started to produce Drum N Bass in the end of 2003. Teaming up with his friend Philipp Preuss they formed Destination Unknown. The duo hooked up with other producers and DJs and quickly became well known all over Germany.
In 2005 Philipp focussed on his study, while Rouven spent more and more time alone in his studio. He decided to produce on his own and finally changed his name to Dementia. He left Germany and is now living in Linz, Austria.
2006 saw the next level of Dementias solo production come to fruition. It also saw collaborations with artists like Axiom, Rregula, Bad Robot or Catacomb which were signed to Shadow Law, DSCI4, Citrus, Basswerk & Shadybrain.
Dementia already played alongside Artists like Dillinja, Dieselboy, Chase & Status, Mindscape, Friction, Bad Company and many more.
Kano,better known as Justin to his mates, was initially inspired to pick up the art of deejaying by old skool/hardcore and drum and bass. He earned his customary DJ apprenticeship at his local record shop, Just a Groove
in Bedford uk and hit raves and popular nightspots like Milwaulkies.From their D&B entered the sub-conscious of Kano.After building bridges and networking with promoters, Kano was soon up in front of curious crowds spinning shop promos.Before long Kano was scoring at the big raves like One Nation, Club Sidewinder and Break Up in the UK. With his mixing skills toned alongside the best of them Kano looked to expand his operation.
Kano decided that the next progressive move was to set up his own outlet to release the music that he found most appealing. With Kano totally focused and determined, Sinuous Records was born in 2002 and embraced the tech step D&B with pure dirty bass.I-Rate a.k.a Raiden was responsible for the Sinuous debut release, Game Over and Dropping Like Flies.A quick follow up was made by newcomer Lynx with tracks Orient and Raw 1000. It was the third release that really started to turn heads with the Transformed EP.As Knowledge magazine acknowledged, Four sides of confident dance floor flair from the Sinuous camp. With praise coming from magazine columns Sinuous were growing and growing fast.
Sinuous Records had started off on a good footing and with a lot of hard work Kano has kept things moving in the right direction.Kano assembled the best of the new breed of talent, artists that were finding it hard getting their foot in door of the D&B scene..man aka (Raiden), Killer Instint,aka (Friction) Skynet, Lynx, Spl , Limewax, Propaganda and Masheen just to name few that have been successful with Sinuous.
Mikhail Avdeenko aka Flame started electronic music production in early 2000. He took part in a succesful live dnb project Skyform and had a bunch of releases on several local CD labels. Since 2002 he started djing in the clubs and had a lot of experience playing alongside big names like Goldie, Dom & Roland, Loxy, Ink, Noisia, Dillinja, Paradox, Optiv and lots of others. In 2002 Flame started his own solo neuro/tech funk productions been inspired by the likes of Sinthetix. He..s a founder of techno dnb project Tenebra wich already had 12" releases on such known labels as Sudden Def and LEET. Since 2007 Flame is focussing on his own solo tunes.
