How reach best results on computer mastering?

Hello,

I want to master a few D&B Tracks which I made.
Give me some hints please, how can I reach the best results?

soundforge multiband compressor -> a little play on the single bands, depends on how dynamic your mix is...
spektrum analysis is a handy tool, if u don't trust your ears, wether the mix is balnced yet or not... if not -> apply a little loudness contour with some paragraphic eq
and last but not least timeworks mastering compressor -> set output limit to protect your speakers...
additionally u can apply the steinberg loudness maximizer or equivalent for extra punch.

should be quite phatt, definitely enough for a demo/promo or listening @ home
