GRYM, aka Seth Broman, is one of the original founders of ONSET. Grym's passion for DNB began in 1996 when he discovered the sound at an underground party in DC. A love for hip hop coupled with an affection for the rave scene naturally resulted in a strong interest in DNB. In 2002, Grym, along with the Motorbooty and P4K crews, concocted a DNB weekly which would become a staple in the Seattle scene- ONSET. Known for his dark, techy and sometimes hip hop influenced sets, GRYM has spun with major players like HIVE, EVOL INTENT, SPIRIT, COUNTERSTRIKE, CORRUPT SOULS, BREAK and EWUN. Aside from his DJing, co-running of ONSET, and coordinating local bookings, he is responsible for the flyer design and aesthetics of the night, as well as several other design projects around the world.

FLATLYNE, aka Jake Wagoner, has his roots in graffiti on the streets of Tacoma/Seattle. A fan of punk/hardcore, his interests gradually drifted towards DNB when he went to his 1st party back in 1997. As soon as he walked into the DNB room he was hooked. From that point on FLATLYNE has been mixing records/cds and putting his efforts towards DNB as a whole(the scene, weeklies, labels, a radio show). FLATLYNE left the state of WA in 2000 and made his way down to San Diego where he hooked up with the crew "Tech Fusion" and began a monthly at the Honey Beehive. He later moved to Phoenix, AZ where he teamed up with Risky Business and formed Perimeter Recordings. They ran a show on DnBtv.com called Perimeter Sessions and also ran a successful weekly, Deactivate. Perimeter Recordings first EP release is still in the works with all four tunes from SKYNET. From Phoenix, FLATLYNE moved back to Seattle, WA to link up with the ONSET crew. Over the years FLATLYNE has released five full length mixed CD's (all available on his myspace page), as well as played along side DJ/Producers such as C4C, SILVER, RAMPAGE, JAE KENNEDY, EWUN, CATACOMB, NIGHTSTALKER, CIRCUIT, WHIZARD, and MC's XYZ, and REPETE. FLATLYNE is known for his underground neuro/techy sound and is focused on getting up and coming producers the exposure they deserve. Be on the look out for mixes and live acts by FLATLYNE for mind-blowing DNB you've probably never heard before...
