The Poets Of Rhythm are a superb funk/soul/r&b group out of Munich, Germany. They have released numerous 45's and LP's under various alias', the most popular of which is "The Poets Of Rhythm". Some other releases have been under such names as most recently The Malcouns, Syrup, The Whitefield Brothers, The Soul-Saints Orchestra, Bo Baral and The Excursionists, Bus People Express and many others. They have been writing great music for the past 15+ years.

The Poets of Rhythm are: Boris "Bo Baral" Geiger : Lead Vocals / Percussion / Musical Director, Jan "JJ" Whitefield : Guitar / Musical Director, Jan "Curly" Krause : Fender Bass, Till "Spooky" Sahm : Organ / Moog / Rhodes, Malte "Malteo" Müller-Egloff : Alto Sax (later replaced by Wolfgang "Wolfi" Schlick), Wolfgang "Wolfi" Schlick : Alto Sax / Side Flute, Michael "Treetop" Voss : Trumpet, Max "Muggy" Whitefield : Drums
