Nach einem kurzen Gastspiel bei der legendären guerrilla:week anno 2006, sind sie wieder da: die behaarten zivilisationsgeschädigten Stadtgorillas mit dem seltsamen Musikgeschmack. In dieser neuen Veranstaltungsreihe im Grazer Arcadium geht es animalisch und musikalisch krass zur Sache. Breakcore steht am Programm und das kann mensch als fidele Mischung aus harten Jungle-Breaks, dunklem D&B, Hardcore, Deathcore und mit Humor getränkten (Pop)Musikzitaten deuten.

Den Auftakt der Serie machen vier extra eingeflogene Holländer. Bekanntester Act und Multitalent
Bong-Ra
aus Utrecht ist musikalisch unter diesem Pseudonym seit 1996 tätig und veröffentlichte bisher nicht nur auf bekannten hollandischen Labels wie Djax-Up-Beats, sondern vor allem auch auf vielen internationalen Labels wie Peace-Off, Death$ucker, Adnoiseam uvm. Mit John Peel (RIP!) hat er eine der berühmten Sessions gemacht und mit "Bikini Bandits" auch den Soundtrack zu einem Film. Als Labelmanager betreibt er die Labels "Clash" und "Kriss", als Teil des "The Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble" (Planet-µ) produziert er düsteren und experimentellen Jazz, mit Sickboy zusammen tritt er als "Servants of the Apocalyptic Goat Rave" auf. wow. ROAAARRRR!
Weiter geht es mit zwei DJ Sets der Protagonisten der Veranstaltungsreihe "Not Your Monkey Not Your Robot":
Kingpin
He’s got over 12 years of experience and always loved the rougher kinds of electronic dance music. Started organizing underground terror party’s in 1998. After a short break, because the scene got fucked up by a wrong kind of audience, he found his true nature again in breakcore music. Because he saw the scene was very open minded and the atmosphere at the parties where just like the good old days, he started organizing breakcore parties. Kingpin, Bart Hard and Jorrit created the concept of ‘Not your monkey Not your Robot’. From there on he performed at all the big breakcore events like ‘Wreck Havoc’ and ‘Crackbeats’. So be aware for his tight mixing, crossfader madness and mashed-up ragga breakcore sounds.
Bart Hard
Influenced by illegal stations and distorted frequencies from radio and television, started to cut cassettetapes to new music. In 1997 Bart got influenced by a musical genre known at that time as terror. It was not actually music, it was more to say the opposite of what music was. The noise and the harshness changed his ideas about what music really was.. The end of the millenium started Bart to make his journey through the (electronic) underground landscape. Here he found more and more influences from the past and present. Digital Hardocre and Noise were two of the most important discoveries to be mentioned, but also grindcore, the avant garde and '80's Industrial got his attention and sneaked in to his dj sets. In between he tried to organise some terror partys and in 2005 he became part of the Not Your Monkey Not Your Robot cru, formed together with Jorrit and King Pin. The noise that you hear activates your consciousness.

Xanaxasax
Xanaxasax is a nihilistic noise project with some hints of blackmetal and breakcore which manifests itself in different shapes and forms. In its origin; dark, heavy, and glitchy soundscapes where you can slice off rotten pieces of society's downfall from.
Soweit so hollandisch.. Ein paar super locals dürfen nicht fehlen und daher gibts einerseits die Premiere von d.nye in Graz und seit langem wieder mal einen Liveact von..
Any Maniac
Liebe zur elektronischen Musik wurde ungefähr 1996 geweckt. Musik zwischen DnB, Jungle und tekkno bis hin zum Breakcore. Sein aktuelles Liveset ist in den letzten 3 Jahren entstanden, stark beeinflusst von den Widerstand Parties in Graz. Er hat schon auf zahlreichen Veranstaltungen bewiesen, dass er das Publikum zum tanzen und zum schmunzeln bringen kann. Sein eigener Style und die unverkennbare Verspieltheit seiner Musik sind smart und sympathisch zugleich. Breakcore mit Humor.

- gebürtige Grazerin, für ein Jahrzehnt zur Salzburgerin mutiert und dort in der dnb-Szene angefangen mitzuwirken, musikmäßig über den Darksteptellerrand geklettert und in Dubstep, Breakcore, Noisecore usw. eingetaucht, beim elektrofachadel mitgebastelt und schließlich in Wien angelangt..
