 Atlantic Connection 'Wrap Report' 2008 'unveils new project'
ATLANTIC CONNECTION & CRUEL RUMOUR
(LOS ANGELES)
wraps up the 2008 season w/ two juicy cuts on Marcus Intalex’s Soul:R records; “Skeleton Man” b/w “Voodoo Woman”.
A dangerous duo of cuts submerging the listener in lower than low baselines, eerie sci-fi blips and bleeps and the unrelenting hypnosis of beats only AC can provide... Along with Soul:R, AC has provided up-n-coming labels Influenza, Prestige, & Telluric Recordings w/ juicy slices of heaven.
AAAAAnd keep your eye out for the nu mega jam New Dawn (see Fabio’s BBC show for audio) combining Stevie Wonder w/ Madonna! (a bold choice from AC, but you all should know by now he likes to take risks), chances are this wont ever see the “official” light of day, but knowing AC, he’ll probably blog that ish…

A mix of club-house, d&b & sleazy hip hop, Cruel Rumour are catching the attention of all who stay current with the hot hot hot. It’s the new gotcha gotcha’.
Already performing private events, word on the street is, these two are the ‘next thing’. A lyrical play on the So Cal lifestyle, Cruel Rumour have coined themselves, the most scandalicious duo in LA, and from the rumors flying about Julz’ two-timing schemes w/ LA skate shop owners and AC’s disturbing gallivants in Hollywood, (at least that’s what we hear…. ) id say it’s true.
