Final Scratch FRAGE

gibts da schon eine beta version die am mac funktioniert, denn die stanton typen sind anscheinend fähig, unfähig zu sein mails zu beantworten -> betreffend: fs for mac!



so nebenbei:
Final Scratch uses the X Window system, the standard graphical environment on Linux systems. Unfortunately, it can be tricky to get it working on certain graphics cards or monitors. Final Scratch tries its best to auto detect the graphics card for you, but sometimes this can fail.

X window gibt es auch unter OS X! ..obs funktioniert?

soweit ICH informiert bin gibts noch keine beta für mac, sondern läuft eben ausschliesslich unter linux, zur zeit halt noch. aber ich lass mich gern eines besseren belehren, falls es andere infos gibt.

also rein theoretisch sollte es aber echt kein prob sein das zu portieren (von darwin - eigentlich ein freebsd-clone - auf linux, cause unix == unix more or less,...hauptsache POSIX...)
und ja - solange der source unter darwin kompilliert...x windows is nicht das problem - darauf läufts dann in jedem fall (is ja auch portiert und alles funzt bestens)
kurzum: es geht nur um die unterstützung von einem unix aufs andere...

wenn sie dafür zu faul sind kanns dauern...
nehm nicht an dasses opensource is, ansonsten würd sich wahrscheinlich schnell wer finden ders probiert...aber naja...firmen policy...
aber um deine frage genau zu beantworten, m3cca: im moment wirds ned funzen...

mhm na ned besser weils meiner meinung nach nicht um die prozessor architektur geht - aber du kannst natürlich in deinem mac os x windoze laufen lassen und schauen obs da geht..
me not wanna know bout da performance...see?
vielleicht hat sonst noch jemand einen vorschlag, aber ich seh da nicht viel möglichkeiten..

ich habe fertig

k, hab finalscratch am mac installiert (VPC) hat zwar ohne stress geklappt ist aber leider trotzdem nicht zu gebrauchen da die graphiken zerissen sind, sobald die app sellbst starten willst wird der bildschirm schwarz, rot, braun und was weiss ich, schade...
