Also some of the coolest comments we receive on soundcloud get rewarded with free 320's
It's our first uptempo release, based on breakbeats ranging 160 to 175 bpm, with minimalistic sounds and infusions from dub, glitch, jungle and techno.
After about three years spent pumping fresh blood in the dubstep scene and winning enough respect for that, DubKraft Records decided to approach the end of the decade with a new ethos and a more interesting vision.
From now on we won't address just one scene, but that niche of electronic music lovers who appreciate Bass, Spirit and Character in a track.
The main goal is now only to create intense emotions for the listener, to leave an emotional scar, in the best possible meaning.
In order to achieve that more efficiently we'll also address more senses by getting support from artists in other fields of creative work besides music.
You will still be able to recognize the DubKraft sound and releases will maintain a certain coherence, but creative freedom will be almost total.
A forming core of eclectic artists will sit at the base of the project while others will join as occasional guests.
To top things nicely, every track gets illustrated by a young and very creative visual artist hailing from Romania, , while the title track is made available for

also available on beatport now!
and here's a nice review we got, it kinda nails it in few words:
quote: DBR UK vs. Alien Pimp & Datacode’s “Cold Jazz” is just what the title states – cold, dark and minimal with bursts of filtered jazz stabs, with beeps and glitches abound. Beepo’s “Redundant Dub” reminds me of my IDM days, the way the beat side winds and switches almost without warning while percussion beats and I feel like I’m being chased through a jungle maze. Dominic Ridgway’s “Purple Dub” is a chilled out, almost tropical tune who’s percussion reminds me if ice cubes slowly but accurately being dropped into a glass of bass water. Marginals “Exit Here” is upbeat yet relaxed, drawing elements from the tech-step days of past, but with refined, minimal filtering. Marginal has the honor of creating the title track “Style Is A Cage”, which, continuing with the minimal jungle theme, shakes and twists through a classic jungle break while the minimal bass and complimentary stabs push the song along. My favorite of the bunch, Skyence’s “Movement”, is the most dancefloor friendly, yet contains some wonderfully bizarre melodic elements and sticks with the minimal motif that ties this great release together. Grab the release from Digital-Tunes and add some more flavor to your bass music repertoire.
