Mathis Mootz, the teutonic mastermind and producer behind The Panacea from Wuerzburg, Germany, has developed and perfected his sinister drum & Bass mashup style over the years. The Panacea is digital Napalm Death, he samples and throws together elements of hardcore techno, drum’n'bass, jungle and industrial creating a truly powerful, explosive sound.

As one of the dominant faces of the iconic german record label Position Chrome he has released 25 ep’s and 5 albums since 1996. His debut ‘Low Profile Darkness’ was one of his most influential works to date and a huge
success with over 12.000 copies sold. It received diverse support from a variety of genre’s such as metal, industrial, goth and punk. it was truly ground zero, a monolith for heavy music to come. Others followed like the
techno & hardcore influenced ‘Twisted Designz’, ‘Phoenix Metabolism’ with it’s hip hop & booty-bass roots, the enormous ‘German Engineering’ & ‘Underground Superstardom’, as well as the experimental & noisy
‘Architettura’.



His experimental, electro, and neo-industrial beats were produced under the aliases of Squaremeter, Disorder, Warfare, Kate Mosh, Bad Street Boy, Radar, Rich Kid and Warfare. These productions were released on labels like Mille Plateaux, Ant-Zen, Hands Productions, Caipirinha, Ambush, Ad Noiseam, Kniteforce, Intransigent, Outbreak, Offkey and Freak Recordings.

With the much anticipated 6th full length album on the way, he continues to bring his otherworldy dimensions while on a busy tour schedule. It is evident that The Panacea has found a musical language that transcends trends and genres.

ja zur zeit ists echt krass wenns um release dates geht.. wenn ich da nur mal an freak, killing sheep, prspct, genosha175, barcode, etc denk..

massenweise tunes gesigned, auf die jeder schon seit ewigkeiten wartet und die mitlerweile dank etlichen mixes und cuts, fakes, etc schon fast totgespielt sind.. echt schad drum!

jup, die sollten die releases um einiges früher rausbringen....oder garned....aber einen ned so ewig lang immer warten lassen

das current value album ist morgen da.
erst wurde es der osterfeiertage wegen verschoben, dann verrafft vom vertrieb...
morgen ist es da!!!
ich hab mein vinylrelease schon.
so ein sexy teil!

edit: das panacea-album wird bestimmt noch ein wenig brauchen...
es würde mich zumindest nicht wundern.

jup vinyl und cd sind morgen draussen.. finally!!

und panacea cd & vinyl wird am 27.4.2010 draussen sein
und da glaub ich diesmal fest dran

finds nur krass, dass omg klonk und rage nicht auf der 12" sind sondern nur auf der cd.. aber position wird halt drauf bauen, dass sich dann die cd besser verkauft und vinyl liebhaber trotzdem noch die 12" kaufen..

anyway.. wird ein verdammt fettes album!!

ps: man kann beides (cv & und panacea & ) schon auf kaufen

hab grad auf chemical recs probegehört ...

vd majick is genial

crypto vip erinnert mich an seinen machine soul remix, beides geile nummern

jungle techno, omg klonk und rage hab ich in div. sets ghört, alle 3 hammer

und rodells remix von world of thoth is einfach


der rest hat mich noch nicht so vom hocker gehaut aber bei der drecks qualität auf chemical kein wunder.
