Run for cover!!! Just when you think you’ve heard it all along come the Neosignal clan and throw everything you’ve ever known right back in your face! This ladies and gentlemen is Neosignal’s outro to 2010 and what a way to go out. This release is pure fire and it’s threatening to scorch every dance floor the world over this winter.
Phace teams up with Misanthrop for ‘Desert Orgy’, an immense slab of drum and bass goodness full of twists and surprises that show just how exciting this crazy genre of music we all love can be. The intro is nothing short of epic, a desolate soundscape that draws us in deep with eerie pads and heavy vibrato guitar twangs that set the scene. Ominous horns arise and a dark vocal infiltrates before a drop that has to be heard to be believed. This track will take no prisoners and it absolutely will not stop until the dance floor is in utter submission! Insane…in a good way!
Then comes ‘Stagger’, another dream collaboration with fellow studio extremists, Noisia. Kicking off with more dark corridors of spine chilling atmospherics, this one sees the guys stepping outside the box to try something just that little bit different. ‘Stagger’ does exactly as the name suggests with throaty bass surges and drums that hurtle along at a seemingly sporadic pace to keep the ears guessing. An awesome dropout later on and this is one that’ll have the more discerning floors begging for more. Inspiring stuff from two of the most forward-thinking production forces in the game.
DJ support by Goldie, Adam F, Andy-C, Phace, Noisia, Spor, Misanthrop, Friction, Ed Rush, Optical, Rockwell, Teebee & Calyx, Black Sun Empire and many more.
And as we really enjoyed to read them all, here are some of the "best of feedback-extracts" our followers left on the Neosignal 006 soundcloud previews:
