CAUSE4CONCERN – SYNERGY (ABSTRACT ELEMENTS REMIX)



Turning to the East for this release, C4C have let Russian production duo Abstract Elements apply their style to Synergy, and the result is another successful addition to the C4C remix series. Very much unlike the recent BSE remix, this AE interpretation is a majorly minimal affair – stark like a Siberian winter yet still full of bare rhythm – leaving plenty of space for the serious sub line to assert its authority. Simple but effective.

DIAGRAM & GETZ – MONOCHROME



Meanwhile on the flip, the duo also known as Diagram and Getz provide Monochrome. With an emphasis on arrangement and subtle percussive progression, this is a track built to sit in the mix for a long time – and way beyond the drop: A low, hypnotic bass line will compliment many other tunes, making this rolling tune perfect for an epic rinse, or even some three deck action. While you are probably already aware of the name Bop, keep an ear out for more from these two in the near future.
