snare bauen

wie gehts ihrs an wenn ihr eine snare baut?

bei mir schauts momentan so aus:
- paar samples aus dem vengenace essential zeug aussuchen (gehen dann halt in die battery, wo ich evtl an der volume envelope schraub und bissl transpose)
-eqing
-compressing
-limiting

dann auf nem send parallel compressen + tuben

und am ende evtl. noch an transient shaper drauf

wenn die snare noch zu roh is, dasselbe von vorn

aber irgendwie klingts einfach noch net proper - habts noch paar tipps?
und gibts eigentlich noch sample cds, die so gut wie die vengeance sind?

also bei dem tune 3 snares. eq. auf an group kanal, ganz wenig hall, bouncen, wieder eq. da fehlt hald noch a top snare..

kleiner tipp

der punch sollt möglichst nur von einer snare kommen

und das reverb/early reflections sollte beim punch keine mitten haben sonst wandert die snare nach hinten
beim schweif ists net tragisch

Hallo da ich den Eintrag vom tenchu glesen hab wollte ich jetzt fragen für was ihr oder für was man einen Reverb im punch bereich verwendet/einsetzt?

Habs noch nie verwendet oder gebraucht bin aber auch noch ein noob zwecks producen

wenn man die snare z.b auf nen kurzen drum room sendet, dann hat die snare bei gleichem pegel weniger punch, es klingt aber irgendwie geil -> das sidechainkomprimiert/duckt man weg beim reverb only und der punch ist wieder ganz vorne.

ich schau erstmal welche snr zu meinem break passt. bzw zur snr im break. envelopes anpassen.. transient drüber (meist n rimshot oder irgendne hat sehr kurz angespielt so dass halt nur der transient überbleibt)
insgesamt meist 3 layer
