Stan Smith - Disco Technic (Monologue Remix)[BlusLtd003 - Free_Release]

Monologue has been seen running around with Roy Green & Protone on many recent drum & bass releases, but he is a brilliant producer in his own right and this free release is a great way of displaying the talent this Austrian possesses. Originally part of a remix contest for Tokyo Dawn Recordings, our boy was clearly too good to win the contest. So here we are. Enjoy the release!

Staying within the blueprint of the original, Monologue tears up the bass bins, with a moody roller that will undoubtedly keep the crowds dancing. Bone-shaking sub-bass makes its presence felt as the listener is transported through a reverberant tunnel before the vocal hits. Alien technoid effects ride the background while the drums ride out in the front. Not enough can be said about the vocal besides its brilliant placement, complimenting the textures surrounding it. DJs, you’re not going to want to do a fast crossover on this one. We at Blu Saphir ride it out past the second drop!
