We welcome back the talented and prolific Greg Packer from the Land of Oz for his second Phuturistic Bluez release. After continuing to make an impact on the D&B scene last year with countless releases, he's shown no sign of letting up this year. This is only the first of many exciting projects coming from Mr. Packer for our own label in 2003.

"True Love" is a tight and well constructed piece of music, arguably one of his best tunes yet. The break progresses quickly from snapping drums to a full-bodied groove, with female and male vocal moans moving things along. The melodies are simple and sparsely placed, but combined with groovy drums and a deep bassline, the hypnotic and booty-shaking effect is undeniable

"Feel For You" is hardly a B-side, with its epic piano chords and quickly emerging amen breaks. The diva-esque vocal sample rings in true with a gut-wrenching high note as the bass drops, leaving the crowd calling for a rewind. Both of these excellent tracks have been caned by a number of big-league tastemakers including Fabio to Peshay, LTJ Bukem, Nookie, and Patife

Phuturistic Bluez has picked up the pace significantly this year in preparation for a hectic release schedule of diverse and quality music. Expect tracks and remixes this year from the likes of: Greg Packer, DJ Andy, Drumagick, Type One, Blue Sonix, Kaleb, and Carlito, among others.
