bios-update??

hab ein problem:

hab ne 60 gb festplatte werden aber nur 30 erkannt. wollt ein biosupdate machn aber keine file gefunden, die mir zusagen würde. könnte mir irgendwer helfen??

..ich glaub du hast dich a) im forum und b) im bereich verhaut..

..aber check mal driverguide.com

dort hab ich bisher immer updatez für meine boardz gefunden..
wird für dein problem ziemlich sicher helfen..ausser du hast was falsch konfiguriert..

schau mal auf der festplatte nach....manche kannst per jumper runterschrauben!! (viele ältere ibm´s oder seagate)

ansonsten auf der homepage vom hersteller nachsehen!

@aquasku:im bios is eh alles auf AUTO gestellt bei den platten oder?
und wo wird sie nru als 30 erkannt?
in deinem windows 98?

auf der hersteller homepage gibts sicher bios update...
chipset für pentium II 450 sollte schon mehr als 30GB unterstützen ...

..also ich wette ya ein das dir mit nem bios update geholfen wäre..
war zumindest bei mir damalz so..

wo liegt das problem?
findest du garkeinz, oder kein passendez update?

kann ich mir beim besten willen nicht vorstelln das es sowas nicht gibt..

morgen hab ich zeit, dann such ich dir was..

tja ich hab auch ne uralt kraxn mit nem p2b asus/440bx chipsatz.
und da werden ohne biosupdate 120 gig hd anstandslos erkannt.
beim 440lx hab ich ein biosupdate benötigt.
hd eventuell manuell konfigurieren im bios? erkennt ers schon beim hochfahren nur als 30 gig hd oder erst im win? win user?
beschädigtes dateisystem oder vielleicht ein unix derivat (ext x oder reiser partition) drauf, was win nicht checkt?
falls nicht geht kannst mas ja schenken....brauch viel space...sonst bin ich nicht sehr anspruchsvoll
zum mp3 horten.

wenns im BIOS richtig erkannt wird leg ich dir Partition Magic ans Herz... aber das solltma eigentlich im "NT"(Setup) nerma brauchen. Sonst einfach wiegsagt BIOS updaten...

..hab jetzt mal ernsthaft gesucht..war ne harte nuzz muzz ich sagen!

aalso:
1.) dein board kommt von MSI
2.)der chipsatz ist BX/ZX
3.)die suchengine auf ist recht wählerisch..

..die angst hat man doch immer beim ersten mal

anleitung gibz hier..


wenns dir wichtig is machz..wenn nicht dann lass es sein..

garantie gibz keine..ich persönlich hatte aber noch nie probleme..
..nimm aber wenn bitte das BX teil..

..und im schlimmsten fall kann manz recovern und wieder mit der alten version flashen hehe
