Sogar Microsoft will Apple

Dieses Bild fotografierte der Microsoftangestellte Michael Hanscom auf dem Microsoft-Gelände und veröffentlichte es auf seiner mit dem Vermerk "Sogar Microsoft will Apple". Die Rechner der Konkurrenz-Firma wurden an Microsoft geliefert, was Michael sehr witzig fand - jedoch nicht Microsoft: Er wurde 2 Tage nach dem Vorfall fristlos gekündigt!

naja, laut nem test (ich glaub es war chip) ist der neue Athlon 64 FX-51 um einiges flotter als der vergleichbare G5!!
Und das sogar mit fehlender 64bit software seitens des Athlonrechners....und noch dazu in welten wo bis jetzt apple die nase vorn hatte (z.b.: photoshop)


d.h. mittlerweile zahlt man bei apple nur noch fürs design

erstmal sind nur real life benchmarks wirklich von interesse..
der athlon fx scheint wirklich die schnellste cpu am markt zu sein.. nur leider ist diese im vergleich zu einem g5 sehr teuer, dazu kommt dann noch der um vieles teurere speicher den man beim athlon fx braucht.

außerdem ist der athlon fx ned dual prozessor fähig .. gibt natürlich leute die meinen sowas braucht man ned .. ebendiese leute brauchen aber auch keine performativen prozessoren.

aber mir eh wurscht.. hab pc & mac.

aha - und worauf entwickelt und testet mirkofotz seine mac-applikationen? auf c64?

der typ is rausghaut worn, weil er firmendaten postet hat, und das kannst auch bei uns bei jeda firma ham.

und bonschmarks intaressiern ned wirklich jemand - oder bekommt jemand von euch bei 3dmark etc an steifen, weil er 0.2 punkte mehr hat als sein nachbar?

One night, the club I was DJ'ing at had just closed down, and our group of late night rabble rousers had found our way over to our usual post-club breakfast spot, "Vinyl" (Village Inn, Northern Lights — VINL). Most of the wait staff there had gotten used to us, generally we were liked, or at least tolerated. A bit rowdy, to be sure, all amped up on sugar and caffeine, but as the club was a non-alcoholic all-ages dance club, at least we weren't drunk and rowdy.

auf 1000 dual g5 macs [cluster, hm?] die im endeffekt eh nie richtig funktionieren, siehe: virtual pc, läuft auf g5 maschinen ueberhaupt nicht, oder office -> von halbwegser performance weit weg, oder IE -> 'entwicklung' sowieso eingestellt... und und und

&nd wie schnell kann man aus ner mücke nen elefanten machen








es wird nix so heiss gekocht, wie es gegessen wird
