Nicol:
Co-owner of UK based drum & bass label, Direct Recordings, and recording artist for Urban Takeover, Shakedown and Frequency Records.
DJ Nicol (UK) originally grew his DJ name by working on London pirate radio station Pressure FM, later moving onto host a weekly show on Cyndicut FM, with top drum & bass MC Eksman, and with guest appearances from MCs Herbz, Fatman D, 5ive 0, TC Izlam, Shortston & Flight to name a few.
He has performed at many UK events including Innovation, 1Nation, Breakin Science and Battle of the MCs, as well as various other events across the UK and over Europe. Also co-promoting Direct Recordings nights with Pure Science, High On Life and Urban Grooves.
He plays a fresh bubbling style of drum & bass, mainly dub plates from some of the scenes top labels, and VIP Remixes.
In 2003, DJ Nicol started the move into production. His first tracks (alongside long time drum & bass producer: Majistrate) have been signed to Shakedown, Urban Takeover and Frequency, he also has remixes of Micky Finn’s legendary ‘Bad Ass’ on Urban Takeover and 5ive-0s ‘Weeda Ganja’ on Solid Vinyl in the pipeline. As well as completing a number of tracks featuring MC Eksman and plans for DJ Nicol to start his own label, 2004 will see a very strong string of releases for DJ Nicol & Majistrate.

Sinista:
Sven Schäfer aka MC Sinista was born in 1984 in Germany. His connection with music started very early, at the age of 3 with ground basic musical education. At the age of 6 Sinista started to play keyboards and had music theory classes for the next 7 years. After 3 years as a “bedroom” DJ he started to MC at the age of 16.
His style caught the eye of the legendary Phaze Club crew that invited him to be a resident MC on their events. A resident place within the Storm! Crew followed.
Considered to be one of the “shooting stars” of 2003, Sinista has caught the attention of many clubbers and promoters in Germany as well as in Europe and has been one of the most booked MCs this year.
