ich will einen tune baun!

würd gern ins producen einsteigen. die ideen usw. hätt ich, nur hab ich keinen plan was ich da technisch so alles brauch.

demnächst setz ich bei mir zaus ein win2k & linux system auf... was sollt ich mir da softwaremäßig so alles draufhaun?

bei linux check dir mal howtos für low latency sachen im kernel (vorallm den 2.6.x er nehmen) alsa natürlich und jack. auf dem aufbauend gibts fertige effekt-pakete die man über jack reinnehmen kann, mastering programme halb halb, mehrere midi systeme und wave bearbeitungs zeug. nur alles ziemlich unübersichtlich. sehr spannend sind auch soft-synthies. zB csound und pd ... eher was für hartgesottene.

wichtigste stichworte:
alsa + jack + jackrack und sowas für die basis, LADSPA + friends für effektkasterl, hydrogen (drums) mit ardour (ziemlich gut), MusE, Rosegarden-4 (letzteres midi) und snd bzw ReZound.
und dass natürlich auch mod proggies im alten dos stil gibt, is eh klar
und abschließendes mastering mit JAM.

Mein Tip wär. Musik -> Windows Umgebung
Andere hagglarei -> Linux (als Entwicklungsumgebung unschlagbar)

Für Windows gibts halt momentan (und wahrscheinlich auch noch länger) mehr Unterstützung von den Softwareherstellern. Auch klar weil grösserer Markt..aber wurscht.

Dann brauchst einmal einen Sequencer. Ich würd Logic empfehlen weil die mitgelieferten Plugins der Hammer sind.

Allein schon der ES2 Synthesizer beim Logic isses wert sich den Sequencer mal anzuschauen.
Eine Alternative wäre dann auch noch Cubase (SX). Ist bestimmt auch sehr sehr gut, kenn ich halt nicht.

Vorteil bei der Geschichte. Du kannst bei diesen Sequencern ganz einfach VST Instrumente, FX in Form von Plugins einbinden (geht natürlich bei andren Gschichtn auch, aber ich beschränk mich auf diese beiden Sequencer)

Dann könntest Du dir noch einige Mastering Plugins besorgen (zb das WavesBundle)
Noch ein Tip wäre das Plugin PSP Vintagewarmer (was Du mit den ganzen Teilen anstellen kannst ist natürlich eine andrere Geschichte, aber Deine Frage war ja glaubich was Du so als Grundwerkzeug brauchst/brauchen kannst)

Nicht verkehrt ist vielleicht noch ein Sampler (Software: Kontakt oder der bei Logic integrierte EXS24)
und ein weiterer Synthesizer (zb. der pro52/53 v. Native Instruments oder der Synth1)

Laß am Anfang lieber die Finger von vielen verschiedenen Synthesizern, nimm dir lieber einen guten (ich sag ES2) und lern mit dem bis Du nichts mehr lernen kannst- und glaub mir, beim ES2 dauert das lang! Ist ein sehr sehr derbes Teil!
Was noch nützlich ist, wäre ein Wav Editor wie Soundforge oder Wavelab.

Das wäre mal eine Grundausstattung an Sofware.
Alles hier aufgezählte ist meines Wissens nach nicht Freeware, also musst Du dir halt was überlegen.

*edit* hab noch was vergessen, Du könntest Dir auch verschiedene Tracker anschauen wie zb. BUZZ oder Fasttrack

wennst schnellere Antworten auf Fragen etc haben möchtest, schau dir mal - > the grid an.
imo sehr gutes Producing Forum. oder
