Flamengo Beach, Rio; one of the world's finest beaches has been selected as the destination for the free-party and although nearly a quarter of a million are expected, privately organisers would not be surprised to see as many as twice that descend on the Brazilian coastal city.
Having caused more trouble than expected in July of 2002, thanks in part to Radio1's unsolicited plugging of the party, the second Big Beach Boutique was reported to be a crowded, generally under-managed affair. The size of the crowds attending and controversy caused scuppered any likelihood of a third free party taking place in Brighton; Fatboy and crew have now announced their plans to decamp for South America.
Rounding up a DJ roster guaranteed to rock the Brazilian crowds, Fatboy Slim is joined by Jon Carter and home-boys, Marky and Patife. The Movement regulars should go down a treat, we're happy to see them head such a huge party. The one-off date should anchor the European tour to celebrate the 22 March launch of the boys' debut album, In Rotation perfectly.

hehe, hab sogar schon wegen flügen geschaut, buenos aires - rio...
wäre dann die zweite +2000km reise im urlaub...
aber es gibt bei dem ausflug nach rio ein problem...
zu der zeit ist dort auch noch carnaval, und...erm, das will ja wohl keiner sehn...
wen interessiert das schon ???

und da legt fatboyslim einfach ein muuuurda set hin!!
Mein Bruder währ zu dem Festl letztes jahr fast nach
Brighton Beach gefahren, aber hatte dann doch zu wenig Kohle..

also, was ich aus berichten mitbekommen hab hat sich die uk presse die aus allem sofort einen skandal macht nach ein paar tagen selber beruhigt...
