ORIGINAL FLO [Culture Rock Soundsystem / Germany]

2004 scheint für die beiden aus Irland stammenden Musiker Beta 2 (aka Tom) und Zero Tolerance (aka Cian) ein tolles Jahr zu werden, mit den geplanten Releases auf Metalheadz (Beta 2-“It’s Time/Vapourise”), Skunrock, Liquid V oder “Bizzy time/Killa blow” (Beta2 & Zero Tolerance) auf Advanced. In irischen und englischen Clubs zeichnen sich die beiden durch ihre eigenwillige Umsetzung von Drum&Bass über crispy breakbeat mit heavy eingesetzter bassline und einer Kombination von raggea und g-funk aus.

Doors open: 22.00 / Admission AK: 7 Euro before / 9 Euro after 23.00 / VVK: 7 Euro in allen Filialen der Steiermärkischen Sparkassen AG / 1 Euro Ermäßigung für Spark7 Mitglieder

hm.. bei genauerem lesen des infotextes denk ich mir, dass die artists evtl jetzt in UK wohnen, aber aus irland stammen..

für mich ist am samstag aber partyhopping angesagt, denn im Veilchen gibts die KANALATTACKE NIGHT.. auch auf keinen fall zu verpassen! -> das fängt auch schon früher an mit vernissage und so.. also gute warmup gelegenheit

tjooo, bin schon daheim. mein resumé:

vor halb eins zu wenig leut und dj war naja, zu sehr eintönige futuristische tunes, dann aber ab eins sehr feine sache, bissi mehr leut und wenigstens a paaaaaar shaker :D

weiß jetzt net wer wann aufglegt hat, aber ab eins wars sehr nais

also für mich waren die Iren sehr enttäuschend .. total cheesy und weichspüler souly drum&bass quargel..

habe an diesem abend niemand schreien und/oder jubeln gehört.. obwohl dietanzfläche dann doch recht voll war..

ich persönlich fands total seicht...
