gutes interview!
quote: What is your favourite break?
I don't know why I'd prefer not saying this one, but I have to do it……it's Amen – but it has to be an OLD one! I have to be honest and say that the new Amens I hear just don't do it for me. I love old Good Looking and Source Direct Amens. They have this classic sound to them. Just beautiful!
People used to put attention to groove back in the days……that was then lost to some extent.
Also because it's been used in so many good tracks out there: The Crane, Secret Liaisons, Piano Tune, Exit 9, Give Me A Dubplate, Remarc stuff, older Dilly and Lemon D amens……
quote: What do you like and dislike about dnb today?
I dislike the fact that the groove element has been replaced by some qualities that didn’t really exist back in the days. Today, too many producers are trying to create the fastest, heaviest, maddest tracks with sickest basslines. It's got way too simple really. You can't replace the flow and energy with high speed, mad shakes, and busy stepper beats. If you compare the sound of, say, Hidden Rooms 1 with any album of today, you will realize what I am talking about.

Am I happy with the way my life is going? Do I have a life or am I just living? Do not let these questions strain or trouble you just point yourself in the direction of your dreams find your strengh in the sound and make your transition.
