DJ HAZARD Biography

Those outside of Birmingham may not have heard of DJ Hazard, but for those that haven't, it¹s a question of when they hear his name, not if. The new addition to the True Playaz family, and the first to stand alongside the mighty Hype, Zinc and Pascal on a more permanent basis is, for his 25 years, remarkably undaunted by the task of keeping up with the label's founding fathers.

Coming from a ragga and hip-hop background, Hazard found he was drawn to drum and bass by the heavy drums and pounding basslines of the sound of jungle and to this date, that's reflected in his music, with a heavy emphasis on the drum sound of each track. His love of phat beats is audible in everything he does, although with tracks such as his imminent first release for True Playaz, 'Rubber Chicken/No More Games' it's evident that he also plunders a diverse and genre-spanning pool for his influences.

Regular slots on Midlands pirate station Kool FM and a handful of vinyl releases set the scene for when Hype made the call to see if Hazard was interested in joining the Playaz cru. When he found out that he wasn't signed, Hype and the Playaz wasted no time in bringing him into the fold. Frequent live outings at Birmingham's Que Club, H2O and CO:DE and a handful of European dates has set Hazard in good stead for moving up to the next level, as from February 2003, he is a regular on the bill at the True Playaz monthly sessions at Fabric in London.

war ne super fette party mit super stimmung!

hazard war der burner!
nur was war nach hazard mit der anlage los? ham die so oarg gespielt oder hats bei der pa irgendwas gefetzt!?
...böse höhen... und meine ohren waren nachher hinüber... aber die stimmung war einfach bombig!!!

party war echt die gute

vorallem der jungle noch vor hazard war ganz nach meinem geschmack
derb, schnell und hart
*schmatz*

hazard hat durchwegz gut gemixt
und der mc war einer der besseren vertreter seiner zunft


nur das geländer auf der bühne hat mich erstaunt..
hatz da leicht mal jmd runterghaut?
auf diebühne klettern ist jetzt jedenfalls leichter als je zuvor..

super stimmung, endlich mal ein guter mc (war schon phile oder?) und kranke anlage. bissl viel war los aber typisch flex halt.

nur was war bei den trashcan's los? mixing war ja auf anfänger-niveau

hätte mir aber nicht gedacht das der hazard so schön mixen kann!

aber weiter so mir hats gefallen

Hab zwar am Samstag etwas gekränklt und war nur bis um
halb 3 im Flex.

Aber das dargebotene hat durchaus zur Verbesserung
meines Wohlbefindens beigetragen!

War alles in alllem ganz lustig... Hazard war gut, besonders vom mixing (wenn auch etwas eintönig) mc war auch sehr gut, hat toll mit hazard harmoniert.

aber das mixing der "trashcans" war meiner meinung nach unter aller sau... besonders bei sub sonic sind da teilweise schreckliche fehler passiert. was war da los?? sind doch sonst immer recht gut

yop.. das war mc phile + er war echt hot!!! hoffentlich bald wieder zu hören und sehen..

hab leider nicht so viel von hazard mitbekommen, aber das was ich gehört hab war mmn echt 1A. stimmung war auch nur genial - hab eine party lang nicht mehr soo genossen.. so viele coole, liebe, lustige leut,... war echt nice
leida is die zeit viel zu schnell vergangen..
