english - german learnbook

ein arbeitskollege von mir möchte jetzt unbedingt deutsch lernen, er stammt aus dem iran, kann aber perfekt englisch!!
kennt einer von euch gute bücher / lernCDs zum deutsch lernen, die für englischsprechende menschen gedacht sind!

vielleicht meldet sich der eine oder andere engländer, der schon erfahrung mit solchen lernresourcen gemacht hat?!?

geh mal in den british bookshop vielleicht gibt es da bücher, oder einfach in ein gutes buchgeschäft..
sowas sollte es eigentlich schon geben..

is vielleicht ein bissl unoriginell - bin selbst aber auch nur zufällig draufgekommen:

ab einer gewissen grundcheckung empfehle ich deutschsprachige filme mit englischen untertiteln. hab selbst so frz wiedergelernt.
bzw. lernt man in skandinawien so englisch. (an dieser stelle grüsse an unsere synchronisationsdummmacher)
erhältlich zb in der alphaville-videothek in der schleifmühlgasse.

aber eigentlich ists die synchronisation die dumm macht
weil durch die anderen laute die lippenbewegungen keinen sinn mehr machen,verlernen die meisten
menschen,lippenbewegungen den richtigen lauten zuzuorden-sogar in der eigenen muttersprache

schulbücher am besten oder?
ich find die waren immer super aufgebaut.. vielleicht nicht grad die von der ersten klasse. da könnt er sich etwas verorscht vorkommen mit lustigen maxerl usw.

und mein vokabular, hört sich vielleicht blöd an, hat sich mit online games etc echt vergrößert.
so merkt man sichs irgendwie viel einfacher.
