here`s our monthly newsletter for cold december.
LABEL RELEASE NEWS
The full release copies of phunk004 (Kubiks&Lomax “Identity/Twentyfour” are out since Monday 28th of november and should already be in a store near you, if not, give us a sign. Phunk003 (AJC) is sold out and there are even a few copies of phunk002 (Syncopix/Stare) around. The promo copies of forthcoming Phunk005 are ready pressed and are waiting to be released in another 1-2 weeks.
On phunk005, as the last release for this year, we have the honor to present a quite unknown youngblood, who delievers two great pieces of soulful music. The long awaited “Wrong means right” by Chemitz`s Drumatic has already caused some serious dancefloor damage in the set of ones like LTJ Bukem, Basic Operations, Kubiks, Konsta, Hold Tight, CLS&Wax, Syncopix, Logistics, Laroque, High Contrast, Lightwood, Stunna, AJC, HumptyC, Bass Tikal, ND, Dex and many more....the flipside is a very special tune by the same guy, which is a bit harder and will get his attention as well. We`ve held that one down a bit to keep it totally fresh . For this highly talented guy, who is totally underrated in our eyes, we promise a really good place in the clan of producers of the first category, as he already makes music on the same eye level. Watch out for the first promo copies of his release in early december.
FUTURE MUSIC Awards 2005
Germany`s biggest D&B E-Zine presents his yearly Awards again. Phunkfiction and its artists have the honor to be nominated in a lot of categories (best label national, best release national, best DJ national, best producer national, best producer international). We are proud to be listed there when looking at our short time of existence. If you`d like to give as a vote, go to and win some special prices besides supporting the Phunk.
