MP3 Introducing Intersection Records (Digital)

Leet Recordings proudly presents a new digital based record label called Intersection Records. We have been very busy over the last few months getting everything together and now we are finally ready to release our new project on the public. Intersection is an experiment into the unknown. Digital content delivery is unfamiliar territory in a scene that over the last two decades has been driven by vinyl. Over the past three years Leet Recordings have delivered eight vinyl releases, a tall order for any “small” independent. We’ve helped bring through some of today’s new breed, and now we will be doing the same, but embracing new technologies. While we are certain this music is good enough for vinyl release, we feel that in order for labels to survive the model needs to be adapted. Labels need to adopt new strategies and not shy away from new openings and opportunities.

So why Intersection and not Leet? We haven’t given up on vinyl, not by a long shot. We wanted simply to draw some distinction between the two. Leet Recordings tracks are available digitally, but only in a back catalogue capacity. With this project we wanted to do something that was exclusively digital. So instead of creating a totally new brand we adopted the name of our small breakbeat vinyl sublabel for use on the drum and bass digital releases. From here on, all Intersection releases will be strictly digital only.

So whats in store? heres the release dates, audio and press releases.
