Hello Phunk-Heads,
sorry that you haven`t heard from us since march. We weren`t sleeping in this time and had a hell lot of work to do. So here`s the full package of hot information, our newsletter for May 2006.


LABEL RELEASE NEWS

The full release copies of Phunk006 (Basic Operations) will be released in two weeks. We are really upset to tell you, that these two guys have just split so it`s probably one of the last chances to get a Basic Operations record. Some weeks after this, the next release will see the daylight: Phunk007 will feature CONTOUR from Helsinki Finland and DJ STUNNA from Chicago USA. Although it is summertime, we wanna stuck you to the dancefloor with this brandnew musical madness, brilliant songs in the typical Phunkfiction manner. We signed two up and coming talents, which have proven their impressive abilities on labels like Phuzion, Jerona Fruits, Blindside, Strictly Digital, Media, Cymbalism, Blu Saphir, Midnight Sun, Invader and more. We are proud to deliver two absolutely equal A-Sides which both couldn`t fit better to the Phunkfiction vibe.. you can prelisten these songs here:




KUBIKS&LOMAX ARTIST ALBUM & EUROPEAN RELEASE TOUR

The release after Phunk007 will be another milestone for Phunkfiction: Our first full length artist album by KUBIKS & LOMAX. It will be available after the summer on CD & 4piece Vinyl. For this release, we are going on exclusive european album release tour. If you are interested in promoting an album release night with Kubiks & Lomax and our label artist Bass Tikal, give us a call or write to roman@phunkfiction.com. Dates are already going quick. PHUNK-Tour with DANNY BYRD and LOMAX

From 28th of April until 1st of May, we´ve had a wicked small tour with Danny Byrd and Lomax through the cities G�ttingen, Bielfeld and Bremen in germany. It was a great and their sets at Kings of the Jungle in Bremen in a packed venue with 2.500 peeps was the big final. Thank you Nick & Danny for these great days of music......

PHUNK PUBLISHING "DIE KLANGBOTEN"

The reason why you did not get a newsletter in April is this: we have set up a great chance for all the artists working with us. Together with some partners we started a publishing company called "Die Klangboten" last month. If you can understand german, check out the website to see and hear what we are doing. Our first project was the overall sound design for the t-online worldcup campaign So if you want your songs to be published and used in commercials, movies, mobiles and so on, send us your demo!!
