GENERAL MALICE’s mix can be best described as some of the best edited drumz, heaviest basslines meets the mean streets of any urban city! Malice’s attention to detail in the mix, the tune selection and especially in his production makes this set nothing short of blazing!!! From the intro with the likes of The Game verses, Diplomats’ instrumentals and true reggae/toastin’ masters paying homage to one of America’s best to the close out the streets is definitely represented on this mix. The Basis (one of GENERAL MALICE’s aliases) and Nightstalker (out of L.A.) tune “In The House” works your speakers so hard while cuts like the Basis and Mumblz, “Cold Blooded”, come fierce and then in the middle cuts into a Gravediggaz (you’re a “G” if you know about them) sample which keeps you on your toes. GENERAL MALICE and Prodigal Son take on the revered “Original Nuttah” song and not only do it justice but add serious business to it as they remix it!!! I could seriously go on about every song and mix in this set, it is that good!!! If you like hard drumz, amens (which are each edited by GENERAL MALICE, no faking here, he painstakingly chops up all of his own drumz), basslines that punch, tunes that may never see the light of day and the dank dark feel for aggressive drum n bass, COP THIS SHIT!!!!

DJ CLUTCH steps in on the “B-Side” for a mix that is as smooth as a rich beer going down. This mix is for the dancefloor to get the movers moving, the groovers grooving and the asses shaking. As a resident at LA’s famed, Respect, this mix embodies what to expect from CLUTCH every time he hits the decks. CLUTCH rolls out the mix with the smooth sounds of tunes like Commix’s, “Roots Train” and Mathematics and Mijatoho on “Move It Down”. Each of these tunes show you where he is taking the mix. Running drumz race through Silent Witness’, “Off Day” while Loxy and Ink’s, “Dutty Rock”, work your bassline keeping it fluctuating in and out. Each mix flows seamlessly throughout and this is a testament to CLUTCH’s tune selection and knowing when to bring in or fade out of a mix.
