How to make a successful label: (DOA inside)

kk, this is what you need to have a successful label:

1. Skull logo
2. Release sheet 50 pages long (make sure it has lots of berko sounding Eastern European acts)
3. Angry front man who is well keen to jump into threads with massive tirades defending their niche sub genre (gaybass or deathstep)
4. Mp3 releases and lots of em (daily updates preferably)
5. Sales notes that are hilariously incorrect (punding drums & crowling basslines!)

IF YOU ADHERE TO THESE STEPS, YOU WILL LEVEL UP AND BECOME TEH MASTER OF DRUM & BASS.

mit solchen subgenres als beschreibung kann man beim festln wenigstens sicher sein, dass es kein langweiliges pop dnb spektakel wird. es handelt sich bei solchen labels wie sie hier angeprangert werden (ausser ich raff den wahren pudelkern der geschichte nicht) oft um die innovativsten gschichten die es zur zeit dnb mässig gibt. ihr solltet froh sein, diese labels sind es die frischen wind bringen und dafür sorgen, dass es diesen musikstil noch lange geben wird. ich weiß zwar nicht um welche labels es explizit in dem doa thread gegangen ist - aber zb aural carnage, future sickness, lost soul usw. würd auf jeden fall als zukunftsträchtige labels sehen.

hätts a böser schreiben können, wenns da zu fad is. aber hab ma gedacht i bleib eher inhaltlich. zu dem ganzen totenschädl ding und der aufmachung der labels insgesamt bleibt eh nur zu sagen, und das war glaubich auch gemeint, dass das alles scheiß marketing gags sind. wer interesse hat was lustiges über die vermarktung der jungendlichen underground - sub - kulturen zu lesen wird sicher mit macht und rebel vom faldbakken seine freude haben. für mich ist die love peace and unity aussage auf den therapy sessions auf jeden fall deutlicher spürbar als zb. bei strictly beats, trotz leichenteilen an der decke. aber is ja nicht das thema, obwohls es findich besser trifft als eure comments.

pop dnb spektakel, verdammt, irgendwie hab ich nicht die insider infos mal so ein festl zu finden.

was ma in diesem zusammenhang noch fehlt bis jetzt ist: quality!
