 Counterstrike ''insubordination'' Lp News

"Representing Cape Town, South Africa, the production duo known as Counterstrike (Animal Chin & 500 Mills) have been creating some dynamic tunes ever since their emergence in 2001. In the last 7 years, they have racked up releases on a number of labels: Moving Shadow, Human, Obscene, Evol Intent, Barcode, Outbreak, Invader, Ohm Resistance and others, and ultimately set up their own imprint, Alogorythm Recordings, to expose the world to their nasty funk. They have also ripped up plenty of sets worldwide over the years and even have their own DnB night in South Africa (''Homegrown''), which attracts 600 heads on average every month, becoming a true threat to the status quo of the scene. So, it’' only right that this duo set aside the last year to focus on their debut artist album, Insubordination.
They promise that this album is no exploration into other genres, no ''noodling experimentation'' or any of that. This is just unapologetic, straight in your face DnB - high energy and hard hitting, with an emphasis on keeping the floors moving. There will be a mixture of new, original Counterstrike material, with tracks featuring collaborators and remixes from the likes Donny, The Panacea, and Current Value. The vinyl versions will be split into 3 ''phases'', each featuring 4 explosive cuts. Here are what phases 1 and 2 will feature:
