BIONIC 1 hails from Gothenburg and proves that Sweden has not only got
the hottest rockbands lately but knows exactly how to rock the drum and
the bass, too! The "Reborn EP" enters the vaults with fresh different
styles and lots of stamina. With "in the box" cries from Loxy to
Chrissy Chriss these tracks are open for versatile use though not for discussion...


"Rocksteady"
Soulful B-Boy-Flavours meet a beat that's runnin till the soles come
off. Junglistic in a subtle way, with lots of cream on top this is a
hymn-like winner in between liquid sets and what we call the rollers!

"Reborn"
Wot? If only all neuro(logic) tracks had beats goin' strong like this
one... "Reborn" deals with a good portion of yesterday, think of late
90's vintage tunes like Johnny L and friends. Add a much swifter beat
and some deadly subs, and yes, u are there - where drum-n-bass is pure,
raw and energetic as nothing else!

"Mindshot"
An eerie track that tracks down the sounds of a nightly raid - on the
dacefloor, in the streets or in fromt of your favourite game console.
Pure vibez, yet far from romantic, this is for those who like it dark
and pumpin'!

"Lockdown"
Definitely this EP's tune for a second hearing. Bionic 1 is subtle about
interweaving his samples and moods on this one. Slightly neuro, yet with
classic synths and melodies the deeper grounds give away this track. The
game is indeed locked down, by ascratch and some subsonic soundtrack
full of little dangers!
