 Wax=platten!?

MUH!

Ich hab ein paar alte Platten bekommen, die seit 10 - 20 Jahren in einer Disco gelegen sind.
Sind auch ein paar leiwande Hip Hop tracks dabei... nur leider sind da, so richtig auf oaschloch mäßig, Waxflecken drauf!
kann ich die einfach weg bügeln? oder mit einem Feuerzeug aufheizen und wegwischen?

I wü jo nix hi` mochn...

sonst schmilzt das wachs inkl. deinem wax

ich würd vorschlagen die groben verschmutzungen einfach so per hand(ohne einsatz der fingernägel!) zu entfernen, alles andere kannst mit lauwarmen seifenwasser und viel zeit zum wischen bearbeiten.

beim wischen auch nix grobes verwenden!

btw. beim friendly house gibt's ein vinyl reinigungsmittel, frag da mal nach ob das auch bei wachs auf den platten brauchbar ist.

hab mir vor kurzem so ein vinyl-reinigungs zeuchs gekauft.

einen halben liter irgendeiner flüssigkeit damit ich schmutz von einer platte bekomme (anscheindend mal als bier-untersetzter benützt worden)

naja hat nicht geholfen, bis auf das dass sie jetzt anti-statisch sind,

und bei wachs glaub ich ists noch ein bisschen schwieriger

aber wie zur hölle kommst du auf die idee feuerzeug und bügeleisen für vinyl zu verwenden ??????

ich würds auf keinen fall erhitzen sondern versuchen das wax im kalten zustand zu entfernen, runterkratzen oder so...
wenn du das wax erhitzt verschmierst du nur alles und dann kannst du die platten entgültig vergessen...
