Biog:

Bulletproof (Aka Jay Cyanide) is undoubtedly one of the finest D&B talents to emerge from the Southern Hemisphere. Until early 2005, Bulletproof were known as a production duo hailing from Auckland, New Zealand, consisting of Jay Cyanide (Known throughout New Zealand as Pots) and former production partner Josh Lees, until the pair decided to go their separate ways. Over the past 7 years the name "Bulletproof " has stood for nothing less than the very finest in explosive, futuristic Neurofunk and dance floor Drum and Bass. During this time, Jay released works on some of the scenes leading labels. The list includes the likes of BC, Square One, Renegade Hardware, Commercial Suicide, 1210 Recordings, Renegade Recordings, TOV, Red-light Recordings, Industry Recordings, CIA Recordings and Critical Recordings, Citrus Recordings and Shadowlaw to name just a few).

Not content with simply Producing and releasing their music on well known UK labels, Bulletproof formed Cyanide Recordings. Cyanide was a platform for Bulletproof to release their/His own music, as well as solo projects and collaborations featuring some of the scenes rising stars, and accomplished Drum & Bass producers, and remains so today. Now after 7 years, and with the help of long time friends and Uprising Recordings head honcho's Concord Dawn, Bulletproof has compiled his first Album,"SHAKE THE FOUNDATIONS". The album is a journey through some of the finest moments in Bulletproof's career, chronologicaly mapping Bulletproofs rise to become one of the most respected international NeuroFunk and dancefloor drum n bass artists on the global stage.

2007 Has seen a major step up in the global demand for Bulletproof, Having already completed a tour of North America this year, and now onto Europe and the United Kingdom for september07. For jay, maintaining his heavy production schedule will been his main focus. With an onslaught of new remixes and collaborations lining the crates of the scenes finest, and a collaboration LP Locked in for late 2007 featuring most of the scenes leading funk and dancefloor producers, Bulletproof is, as always, spearheading the sound of New Zealand neurofunk....
