OFFKEY - Firm LP Sampler - Propaganda/Lethal out!

Firm LP Sampler - Propaganda "Motor City" / Lethal "East End Thug - OUT 1st September

The Firm Album Sampler

The public asks and Offkey delivers. Never a label to disappoint their audience, this sampler to the highly anticipated Firm album features two tracks that became instant favourites and had people pleading for a full release. The *******ing label has had a string of successful and well received releases that cemented it as the leading name in Drum and Bass and in a position to set the benchmark of production and experimentation within dance music. As a way of saying thank you to it's supporters, Offkey gives you what you asked for: Power to the People!

A) Propaganda - 'Motor City'

True to its name, Propaganda's 'Motor City' uses influences taken from the Detroit Techno scene whilst fusing it with the futuristic drum and bass production that has made his sound so recognisable. A swirling, acidic 303 line buzzes over Propaganda's trade-mark drums; with its main featuring the soaring reece create a track that fuses the forward-thinking, intense sound of Offkey with the mechanical, industrial backdrop of the birthplace of Techno. Look out for more Propaganda on the full album release.

AA) Lethal - 'East End Thug'

Lethal's first solo track to be released via Offkey sees him taking a decidedly more techno-edged approach than his previous collaborations with label-mate Khanage who together released the massive 12” 'Jawbreaker' flipped with 'Murkage' last year. 'East End Thug' shows why Lethal is one of the most exciting prospects within the labels arsenal – blurring the divisions between genres by using the hypnotic elements of techno and the tearing dancefloor qualities of drum and bass to construct a devastating assault on the senses.
