jungletrain.net promomix september 2009 by Fada

Fada - jungletrain.net promomix september 2009

I guess I first got into drum & bass around 96/97; I started buying records and mixing a few years later. I've always been interested in the more leftfield and thought provoking styles rather than just all-out dancefloor.

From around 2004 onwards I started trying to make my own music. I gradually learned new tricks and became more confident with what I was making. In September 2008 I had my first netlabel release with Materializm ("Direct From The Source EP" [XIZM005]). I have gone on to do 2 more releases with Digibeat (Dyssomnia - Sleepless Dreams - [DBM016] and Infest - Peaceful Tree (Fada Re-Edit) - [DBM019]), another on Materializm (Illusion - Laid Back Style Placement (Nic TVG Remix) - [XIZM009]), as well as a track featured on a compilation release on Pincecone Moonshine (Grey Area - [PCMS005])

I started playing on jungletrain.net in January 2008, playing a mix of new and old. For the mix it was a hard decision with all the great new tunes out there, but I decided to play some of my favourites from around 94-96. I hope you all enjoy the mix and be sure to tune in to jungletrain.net.

Listen to Fada LIVE on jungletrain.net: weekly, Mondays, 22:00 - 00:00 (CET) and bi-weekly (odd weeks) Thursdays, 22:30 - 00:30 (CET)
