1. wayne?

2. wie definieren? was machst mit "urbanen" festival wie sonar, transmediale, spring, elevate, wmc, die meist länger dauern, in mehreren venues stattfinden, begleitpartys und auch einen hohen kunst/kultur anteil aber auch gratis openings oder sonstwas auf großen plätzen haben?
wann is ein elektronisches festival noch ein elektronisches festival? darfs z.b. auch einen kleinen akustikfolk sonstwas floor geben? oder die ein oder andere ned wirkli elektronische band (creamfields z.b.)? was wär mit einem riesenfestival wo z.b. prodigy, chemical brothers, fatboy slim die klaren headliner sind aber nona auch "gitarrenbands" auftreten?
was zählst? auftretende acts? besucher? umsatz? credibility?

3. ein heißer kandidat wär zu seinen anfängen sicher das detroit electronic music festival gwesen, da war das bissl so wies donauinselfest nur halt mit 80% techno, also teilweise gratis am flussufer und millionenpublikum, mittlerweile is das reglementierter mit eintritt und begrenzten zahlen...
und/oder natürlich loveparade...
