Pola-Riot Club=3 w/ Birdy Nam Nam (DJ Sets by Little Mike & Crazy B)

David Guetta konnte einpacken. Air auch. Denn dieser Abend stand ganz und komplett im Zeichen von vier Pariser Turntablisten: Am 6. März holten sich Birdy Nam Nam beim französischen Musikpreis Les Victoires de la Musique doch ein wenig against all odds, aber absolut verdient die Auszeichnung in der Kategorie Electronic/Dance. Der Wermutstropfen, zumindest für uns im Lager Pola-Riot: an selbigem Tag hätten zwei der vier Monsieurs ursprünglich auch im Zuge unseres Flex-Einstands auftreten sollen.
Aber aufgeschoben ist, na Sie wissen schon … Jedenfalls werden die Herren Little Mike und Crazy B nun eben unsere Geburtstagsfeier – falls jemand fragt: es ist jetzt auch schon der dritte – beschallen. Umso besser. Das Credo des Abends dürfte sich aber weiterhin von ihrer aktuellen, von Genre-Koryphäen wie Yuksek und Justice mitproduzierten Platte ableiten: „Manual For Successful Rioting“. Oh yeah!
