Record collector's imagination confident that fictional career as club dj going well
Imaginary career as dj is going well
BRISTOL, UK - The imagination of record collector David Brearly, 25, reported that his fictional career as a fly by night club dj was going well.
"The crowd was pretty manic and the whole night was heavy, real heavy," Brearly said, after he played a fictitious two hour long set mixing drum and bass and breakbeat to a thronging, non-existent crowd of ten thousand at a leading Bristol venue.
"I was pretty out of it myself," Brearly said, "And it gets like you can't hear anything but the beat,"
Brearly commented, after a night spent rummaging through his outdated collection of vinyl records.
Brearly's imagined crowds were definitely on the increase, reassuring him that his daydreamed career as a dj was on the up.
"The punters do the talking," Brearly said.
Brearly complained that there was not enough fictitious time to play gigs at all the imaginary clubs who want his heady cocktail of beat and melody.
"It's mad, crazy. There's only seven nights in a week, worse luck," he said.
