Since Digital Blus' inception, the sister label of Blu Saphir Recordings has played host to many of drum 'n bass' biggest names in addition to some of the more obscure unbeknownst to the mighty drum 'n bass massive. A quarter of the way to one hundred, number twenty-five features another Japanese powerhouse, Velocity. As an accomplished event coordinator, DJ, Designer, VJ and producer, this brilliant artist has the support from some of the scene's biggest names, including Commix, Marky, Bailey Bryan G, Hype, Lenzman and many more. He has also charted at the number one spot for Japanese electronic music on iTunes with his track, Ladder, featuring Key MC on the Something We Can Do compilation, out on HE:Digital.

Cologne-based Decon is exclusively signed to Paul SG's Jazzsticks Recordings but for Digital Blus they made an exception.

A: WHAT I'M SAYIN'

Blissed out pads and metallic tramens bring the badness to this intricately diverse number. Warm, rolling bass compliments the summer vibes coming through while the melody peeks through the clouds like the sun after the rain. The wind rushes in, bringing reverberant percussive hits with it, as the melody builds. With its jigsaw-like quality, What I'm Sayin' is going to get the floor rockin' like a tidal wave.

B: DEEP ROOTED

Quality liquid by the UK's Decon. Layered percussion, and melodic pads introduce piano essence to this brilliantly produced tune. Multiple levels of sound embellish the number. Many will be reminded of the 'Golden Age' days of liquid drum 'n bass. Blu Saphir is doing top notch work in keeping the sound alive!
