MALAKY comes from the UK and has hosted releases on some of drum ‘n bass’ most smooth-rolling to date including Fokuz, Force, Horizons, Influenza Media, Liquid Drops, Liquid Tones, Soul Deep, Stepping forward and Celsius.

In addition to collaborations with Identified, MsDos, and Vocalist Lyndsey Murray, the Brit has also been in rotation from the drum ‘n bass scene’s leaders including Good Lookings’ LTJ Bukem.

A: KEEPING ON

“KEEPING ON” flows through on a wave of blissful emotion. Angelic pads and effects like the flight of a seagull introduce this brilliant number. Bright, accentuated drums introduce the horn line crescendo, before falling deep into a sea of synthesized strings and harps. The break allows us additional time to soak up the euphoria as the crescendo comes full cycle and drops again.



B: HEATING UP

Perfect for the oncoming summer (for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere), “HEATING UP” is a journey of smooth-rolling vibrations, bass-driven licks and forward driven drums. Angelic atmospheres ride along the back drop while a lovely vocal permeates through the song’s many layers.
