mich würds eher freuen wenn emagic paar dsp-karten auf den markt bringt, wo man die logic internen fx und vsti drauf laufen lassen kann...

aber auch wenn sie's tun würden, glaub kaum dass es den pc-usern viel bringen würd.

ich glaub ne emagic dsp karte würd sich im prof. bereich nicht rentieren, weil die plugs nicht qualitativ gut genug sind, und ein 2t computer oder andere dsp systeme billiger und besser sind.
aber VORALLEM weil die pc's so rapide schneller werden.
und außerdem hat logic 6 eh freeze funktion.

allerdings hat access bis vor ein paar monaten die virus powercore als unmöglich dargestellt... aber siehe da
virus powercore basic (400€ @ ankündigung accessmusic.de)
16Stimmen auf max. 4 instanzen auf einem powercore dsp

allerdings bild ich mir ein über so ne vst karte gelesen zu haben, aber ich glaub für pc's... ohne gewähr!

aber was solls, powercore 899€ @ klangfarbe
kann ich nur schwer empfehlen

warum sollte sich die nicht rentiern? und die plugs sind imo qualitativ genug, und schon allein wenn die ganzen es2, plex und sonst was auf ner dsp-karte laufen würden wär ich schon seeeehr dankbar dafür. im prinzip gehts mir darum, dass es dsp-karten für die jeweilige anwendung (in dem fall logic) gibt und alles was mit dem prog zu tun hat drauf läuft... mixer, plug-ins, etc... wie bei pro-tools eben... nur wenn geht bissl "günstiger".

und wofür ein 2t pc? mehr als unnötig mmn, wenns dsp-karten gäbe.

die pcs werden schneller... klar. wer nicht? *g* überhaupt red ich nedamal annähernd von macs, so gsehn is mir logic 6 superbare, und ich werd auch keinen gedanken dran verschwenden auf mac zu produziern. mein pc läuft jetzt supergeil, brauch keinen mac... lediglich hie und da denk ich mir dass ne dsp-kartn jetzt einfach ned übel wär.

im moment würd ich bei der pci zuschlagen, weil die firewire nur 1.5mal so schnell ist aber 1.6mal soviel kostet.

ist eher ne geld und glaubensfrage...aber pci und firewire version sind vollkompatibel und parallel betreibbar


ich werds gar nicht packen wenn ich meine vsti virus durch nen voll aufgedrehten 24/c jage
