ich: schwarzer mantel, schwarze haube, khaki-hose.
mein begleiter: grün-blauer pulli, hose weiß ich nicht mehr...jedenfalls nicht giftgrün oder sowas 
holen und um 10 den stempel, gehn noch woanders für ein stündchen auf ein getränk, danach zurück zur passage.
türsteher:
"sorry, aber für die heutige gesellschaft seids ihr definitiv zu bunt"
na gut, dann gehma halt.
und kommen nie mehr wieder

aber gut, tausche vienna scientists gegen downtempo elektronik, von mir aus "wiener elektronik"
und die waren mal sehr bemüht nicht bloß als fades lounge/cocktailbar hintergrundgedudel zu gelten
und nun nenn mir mal einen wienerclub wo solche musik zur zeit mehr ist als ebendieses loungegedudel, ausnahmen dubclub, rhiz, sofasurfers assosciated sachen und eventuell noch die g-stone sachen im flex
da passen sunshine und passage und dümmliche türpolitik super dazu, für eine lebendige szene bedeuten solche sachen aber das ende, IMHO
und keine angst, für all souled out zu bunt oder nicht deluxe genug zu sein verkraft ich, damit kann ich leben,
daher steht da ja auch trifelife

haha - dazu sag ich nix, sonst mach ich mir keine freunde! wiener elektronik IST mmn loungegedudel spätestens seit irgendein pressefritzi das wort erfunden hat! und vienna scientists kamen erst viel später...
nur soviel - die ersten vienna scientist parties waren in sunshine clubs, die g-stone parties waren jahrelang in sunshine clubs und auch die sofasurfers haben massiv mit sunshine zusammengearbeitet und ich seh nicht was der locationwechsel von der meierei in die passage da verändert haben soll. türpolitik gabs in der meierei auch schon!
...und eine lebendige szene gibts und gabs bei uptempo/downbeat - call it what you want - meiner meinung nach nie, die wiener elektronik wurde von den tollen journalisten die auch am bandwagon sein wollten ja auch immer als eine ansammlung von autarken heimwerkern rund um g-stone und mego charakterisiert...
...was genau jetzt am samstag in der passage oder in anderen uptempo clubs läuft weiss ich nicht weil ich mich dafür nicht interessiere und dort einfach nicht hingeh, aber ich hab kein problem wenns 1000 andere glücklich macht dorthinzugehen!

hope you are all alive and well and gut gerutscht ins neuen...
Just read this thread cos of door politic and having spent a week in Poland I can only say....Leider pech gehabt!!!Cos its the same in Krakau....The gorillas
at the door make this selecting into some sort of Volks sport and I dont really think it has much to do with what you have on at any given moment (from what I observed anyway)
Same the world over unfortunately and ZUM KOTZEN IST ES!!!
what gives a gorilla the right to select when he cant even dress himself???
PASSAGE??Matt I wish you all the luck in this strange place...Said yesterday to you that I wont be going there but good luck all the same and maybe my arm is twisted and I fall down the steps in Full Camo look with 2 dead gorillas in my hands
Wotever,the prices are rather expensive in Passage after spending a week in Krakau paying 2 zloti for a beer (50cent) and I think I will hold on to my money and invest it in ????
Anyway have fun A.S.O crew and rock it good!!!

i don t wanna side with securities - said that before - i think there s good and bad ones - as in every job - but to my opinion the answer to your question is: THE PROMOTER!!!
to be honest i don t know any security from passage so hopefully they are not all that bad but securities generally also only do their job (at least in most cases) and if the promoter tells em to select they HAVE to do so!
...and believe me - we won t tell em to do so and if sunshine tells em to do so on saturdays-sunshine club i don t care to be honest!!!
i absolutely get your point and i agree with you and i personally don t join nights with selecting gorillas on the door but i see that as a matter of which promoter/party is on and not as a matter of the location!
...still remember what i ve been told about volksgarten security before we started our club there and it really wasn t a problem at all in the end...

in polen hab ich genau das gegenteil erlebt.
ich war mal in warschau im bei sketch & code und das war so ziemlich das entspannteste cluberlebnis: gorillas gabs dort nichtmal.
wenn man gewusst hat wie man die eingangstür aufbekommt war man drinnen ...
