Bio:




Jade and Matt-U are Gabor Simon (26) and Matyas Szalai (23) from Budapest, Hungary, definitely the centre of drum and bass in Central Europe.

They got introduced to drum&bass in 2000 after a couple of years producing in different genres separately. The stlyle was a great impression to their production, Matt-U started working on liqud tunes, while Jade was more into the dark, technoid sounds. Jade and Matt-U both used to upload their early tunes to a hungarian production message board, which was also the starting ground of SKC and Chris.SU. Years passed as they got deeper and deeper in the art of electroinic music production, improving their sound design, mixing and arrangement.

A year after they first met in 2004, their first collaboration, 'Got Lost' was born, and gained huge success by getting singed to [/b]Black Sun Empire Recordings[/b]. They kept on working together, and created ‘Salem’ and ‘Nightmare’, both tunes came out on the mighty Moving Shadow, while another 12” was released on Ryme Tyme’s Spawn Recordings: ‘Treachery’ flipped with‘Stars’.
Matt-U, as a member of another crew called Soulproof, focuses on liquid and dubby drum&bass, with releases at Fokuz Recordings, and forthcomings at Habit Rec, Timewave Audio, Horizons Music, and Commercial Suicide.
Jade alone makes harder techy tunes, like ‘Acid Flood’ forthcoming on BSE, but he also finds joy in making bootlegs, like the recently released ‘Pump Friction’, a rework of the famous anthem from the pump fiction movie. Jade does breakbeat too, to be released at DJ Quest's Cyberfunk Records in the UK.
Jade and Matt-U has aslo successfully started their dj carrier in 2004, gaining massive interest. Their sets are unique thanks to their different orientation, resoulting a diverse rolling dancefloor experience.

After our great party in April, we invited two members of TACTILE to Sopron. Longman and Bratwa became well-known as Airbag duo. They were remarkable dj-s in the beginning as well, because they always had the latest records earlier than the other dj-s. They have become gradually well-known due to the freshness of their bakelites and their mixing technique. Moreover, they were the first dj-s who started putting on music from SKC and CHRIS.SU, so that they could help Hungarian drum&bass producers to become part of the international forefront. They created TACTILE cooperating with SKC, SAFAIR and CHRIS.SU in 2004, which is becoming more and more successful.They have been over several releases ( e.g. They are supported by COMMERCIAL SUICIDE or HOSPITAL ). They also worked together with TRACE, and their activities have been crowned with their album, entitled SUPER SYSTEM which was released by TIMELESS MUSIC. They organized parties where PENDULUM and D.KAY were the special guests. LONGMAN and BRATWA select music from the wide palette of drum&bass; we can find not only the styles of dub and jungle, but also liquid and techno-like rhythms in their sets. Visual effects are provided by VISITORS VISION at the party, and we will give extra surprise to those who come early.
