puh, sowas is immer schwer, also nur die wichtigsten die mir jetzt auf die schnelle einfallen:


"neuentdeckung" des jahres:



battles - ep c/ b ep

zurzeit ganz klar eine der unpackbarsten bands, zweimal live gesehen, zweimal begeistert, großartige ep sammlung, das angeblich bald erscheinende richtige album erklär ich jetzt schon zum album 2007


inhaltlich und überhaupt overall gesehen:



die goldenen zitronen - lenin

unpackbar gut, jedes wort stimmt, jeder sound stimmt, ganz ganz groß, auch zweimal live gesehen, auch zweimal superb


auch ganz vorn dabei:



two gallants - what the toll tells

auch zweimal gesehen, auch zweimal großartig, musik die einen umwirft und nimmer loslässt, oder so, auch wenn das saudeppat klingt


ebenfalls top:



about - bongo

überbordendes album mit so viel ideen dass davon 10 topkarrieren leben könnten, da kommt glaub ich alels vor was man sich musikalisch vorstellen kann, von klassikpiano akkorden zu gabba drums und und und, auch live gesehen, leider sind konzerte im renz eine reine verarsche...(bzw. das renz an sich, is eine einzige verarsche)

mit dabei an der spitze ist natürlich auch jarvis:

ein neuer jan ein neuer anfang,



jan delay - mercedes dance

ein fixer platz, auch wenn der cleane funk nicht so ganz meins is, aufn eizieiz is verlass, auch gesehen heuer

zu guter letzt noch ein remix album



jamie jamie jamie, hach, heuer doch tatsächlich nur einmal gesehen, und das in der nähe von berlin, hm, jamietechnisch hat wien also nachgelassen, egal weil jamie = essentiell

kein album aber stellvertretend für den sound 2006:

ein bisschen außer konkurrenz, weil ich da ned leugnen kann vorbelastet zu sein:



graham coxon - love travels at illegal speeds

hat vielleicht nicht den charme früherer graham alben aber is dennoch, für mich das gitarrenrockalbum mit den knackigsten songs und sounds 2006, als einziger auch ohne live erlebnis in der liste...(auch in der ferner liefen liste hab ich bis auf den thom yorke und tv on the radio (die wären zwar da gewesen, aber als vorvorband von kindergartenindiestars war mir das zu blöd) alle gesehen


außerdem (wie konnte ich die nur oben vergessen)
